So I’ve always loved this song and a few years back, several years after Donna Summer passed away, a collection of her hits had come out remixed by various DJ’s. This was the first single off of it and on that single there was a “dub” version that had just snippets of her original vocal included. It left itself wide open to a “duet” situation. So I decided to give it a shot. The mixing, however, took a lonnnnng time to get to where I could make the vocals sound like we were actually close together or believable in a duet situation. This is the result after many hours of mixing and remixing and finally mastering. It’s fun. High energy 😉
